Mystic Starr's Executive Decision of PrinJa - aka "Samson"

April - September 2006

Samson was born with a birth defect of his spine and unfortunately no signs were ever detected until the tender age of 5 months old when it attacked his nervous system.  Vets seemed to believe it was a "freak" occurrence at birth after studying the xrays taken.  To keep him from further pain, he went to sleep peacefully, September 2006.

Samson was greatly loved and owned by Maria of PrinJa Boxers and this precious boy will remain in our hearts forever!

 

Dear Family,

I wanted to let you know I made the trip just fine

I hope I stay in your heart, as you will be in mine

The fields are plush green, the weather is nice and warm

It is never cold here, no snow no storms

At first I was a little lonely, and even a little scared

But God whispered to me, "There's some friends over there."

Mom, I ran as fast as I could, to greet their open arms

They smiled and hugged me, I no longer felt harm

They gave me many toys, and huge shade trees to take my naps

As I rest peacefully everyday in God's lap

I have fresh spring water to drink from each and every day.

All the food I want to help me on my way

I stop and look behind me, to see if you are there,

but God said it wasn't your time

Just a little longer I would have to bear

Mom, I'm with our family, we play all the time

They said we are free now

This place is mighty fine!

I watch over everyone in our great family.

But I will also miss you Mom

Until you guys are here with me

I must go now, God has given me a chore

I must stand watch, for when you come through Heaven's door

Please don't forget me, I'm sorry I had to go

I will always love you

I'm sure you already know
